CHIEF IMPACT OFFICER

The Chief Impact Officer will work with the CEO, Boards, staff, supporters, and partners to maximize our impact on creating a resilient, equitable, and accessible Boston Harbor that contributes significantly to the region’s quality of life and economy. The Chief Impact Officer will lead the organization’s waterfront development, climate resiliency, park development, public access, programs, and community engagement work.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Reporting to the President and CEO and working closely with the senior leadership team, the Executive Assistant is a dedicated and motivated individual who is able to stay highly organized, multi-task, take initiative and maintain good relationships with internal and external audiences. This position is also responsible for scheduling staff, Board and committee meetings. The Executive Assistant must anticipate the needs of a busy and dynamic office; interface with the Board, staff, and a diverse constituency; maintain confidentiality and assist in implementing priorities aligned with the organization’s strategic agenda. This position anticipates the needs of a small number of senior level staff, manages the Board, and supports a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally.

INNOVATION ISLANDS PROGRAM CONSULTANT

Boston Harbor Now in partnership with the National Park Service seeks an Innovation Islands Program Consultant to support the collaborative efforts of the Innovation Islands Mini-Grant program. This contract will be for 30 weeks from mid March – September and it will entail serving as a liaison between staff and local grant recipients as they plan, facilitate, and evaluate their events at Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park.

SUMMER PROGRAM INTERN

This summer, Boston Harbor Now seeks a motivated and energetic intern to assist with more than 100 recreational programs and special events in Boston Harbor Islands National & State Park, including fitness programming, live concerts, after hours events and cruises, and island camping programs! Taking direction from the programs team, this intern will help facilitate a series of enriching public programs on a weekly basis, including children’s art activities, fitness and wellness programs, concerts and other live performances, and public kayaking programs. This position is primarily remote, but many duties take place largely outdoors within the Park and around the mainland waterfront. The programs intern will assist in the organizing, execution, and monitoring of the Boston Harbor Now’s robust programming calendar.

STONE LIVING LAB SUMMER CLIMATE EDUCATION AND PROGRAM INTERN

This is an exciting opportunity to join a diverse team of talented individuals who work closely with public agencies, communities, and private & nonprofit partners. As a member of the Stone Living Lab Education and Engagement team, the Summer Climate Education and Program Intern will assist with public programs and education projects in and around Boston Harbor, including the Boston Harbor Islands National & State Park.
